Hugo has been in love with animation since he was a kid and watched old Disney classics. He started his career back in Germany. His work spreads from feature films like Hotel Transylvania 1 and 2, the Lorax, Smurfs to vfx work like Chappie, Harry Potter, Godzilla vs Kong.
He also worked for BBC one on shorts like The Gruffalos Child and recently in video games for Next Level Games. Hugo has worked all over Europe and Cananda including studios like Sony Imageworks, Double Negative, Illumination MacGuff, Image Engine, Studio Soi and Scanline VFX.
