Working Instructors

Malerie has been in the feature film industry for over 8 years. She attended Emily Carr University, 3D Training Academy, and several online Animation courses before beginning her career at Blue Sky Studios. While there, she worked on The Peanuts Movie, Ice Age: Collision Course, Ferdinand, and Spies in Disguise. She is now currently working at Walt Disney Animation Studios animating on feature films such as Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen 2, Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, and Wish. She was also a supervisor for two years on both the Disney Plus series, Baymax! and Strange World. Currently she is an animator on an unannounced 2024 feature film at Disney. She is very passionate about animation and generating believable and entertaining performances- and most importantly having fun while doing it!
